TruckProfit is operated by TUFF KANGA PTY LTD ABN 87 637 423 619 . We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information: When you create an account we collect your name and email address.

Job and load data: When you use the calculator we store the job details you enter including route, distance, revenue, costs and profit figures. This data is stored against your account so you can access your job history.

Device and usage data: We automatically collect information about how you use the app including your device type, browser type, pages visited and features used. This helps us improve the app.

Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

We use your information to:

We do not sell your personal information to any third party under any circumstances.

3. Who we share your information with

We share your information only with the following trusted service providers who help us operate the app:

Supabase — database and authentication hosting. Data is stored on servers located in Australia or the United States.

Stripe — payment processing for Pro and Fleet subscriptions.

Lovable — the platform used to build and host the app.

All third party providers are required to handle your data securely and only for the purpose of providing their service to us.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase. We use industry standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to your data is protected by authentication — only you can see your jobs, costs and history.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. However no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your account and job data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will delete your personal information and job history within 30 days.

We may retain anonymised and aggregated data that cannot identify you for the purpose of improving the app.

6. Your rights under Australian law

Under the Australian Privacy Act you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you. You can view most of your data directly in the app under Settings.

Correct your personal information if it is inaccurate or out of date.

Request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at privacy@truckprofit.com.au.

Complain if you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles. We will respond to all privacy complaints within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and to understand how visitors use our site. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.

8. Third party links

Our app may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend you read their privacy policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice in the app. The current version will always be available at truckprofit.com.au/privacy
